A: The Dog Silencer Pro can detect barking up to 23 meters away (75 feet). The key chain remote can be used up to 23 meters away from the main unit. Once activated (by barking, or by remote), the sounds emitted by the Dog Silencer Pro can travel up to 90 meters (300 feet) in a clear path.

Q: Will it go through doors, walls, windows?
A: You will want to have the unit in the same area as the barking dog, as it is not designed to work though solid barriers such as walls, doors, glass, etc.

A: Larger dogs tend to react to lower tones, smaller dogs tend to react to higher frequencies. Also, if the dog is hearing impaired, the dog would not be able to hear the higher frequencies. The audible frequency is also helpful during the initial setup of the device.

Q: Will it go through fences and trees?
A: You want to place the unit in an open area unobstructed by fences trees or other solid objects as these may diminish the ability of the sound to reach the dog.
